Moroccan marriage customs

 This is a short story describing wedding according to the moroccan traditional marriage customs. The story starts when a moroccan young man likes or falls in love with  a moroccan pretty girl, the young man doesn’t propose to her, instead he opens his heart and offices his feelings to his mother, in her turn the old lady reports the path to his father, the father investigates about the future of light family. If the investigations cannot positive they start with relations to visit the girl’s family who will come them according to the moroccan customs of hospitality because in the past Moroccan marriage was an agreement between two families rather than a relationship between two people, so during the first visit the young man’s family brings different if some a volley from sugar cones symbol of sweetness to Moroccan Hinna  symbol of beauty. This first visit though is not considered as an official engagement, the young man’s family waits for an affirmative reply from the future of light family before coming back to the formal engagement ceremony, during this ceremony more valuable gifts are offered to the future bride and her family. They usually have music bands to celebrate the happy event and maybe some dancing the glue usually but not always comes to the wedding provide in a white horse and the family follows flies in him almost like a medieval king and his bride is carried on {ameria} as she is a nice car, the groom made then kiss his bride but not like in movies of course, the music goes on and the celebration may last all the night until the first hours of the morning but a long time you fool that the bride and the groom run away to their secret place, in this night is called entry night “LAYLAT DOKHOL”.
